Venice/Sarasota, Florida area veterinary services-

As a client of our animal hospital in Venice, you can expect our core values to be represented in each visit to address your pets’ needs.

When you arrive for your appointment our concierge will warmly greet you, and begin the check in process.  Complimentary refreshments from our beverage bar, as well as a flat screen television will be available for your enjoyment.  In our kid’s corner there are magazines and books to help keep them entertained.

One of our animal care nurses will escort you into an examination room and begin by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition, and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.

At this point the veterinarian will perform a comprehensive wellness examination of your pet, ask further questions and if needed recommend diagnostic tests.  Once the tests have been completed, which can usually be performed with our in-house laboratory, your doctor will discuss the results, possible diagnosis and develop a treatment plan if warranted.

This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing.

Your veterinarian will return with prescribed medication(s) and discuss the proper administration of medications, next steps in follow-up and treatment and answer any additional questions about wellness care for your pet.

Our concierge will review tests and procedures performed and medications prescribed, process your payment and schedule any follow up visits.

Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.
